Diogee - Beagle

I'm like, What kind of a name is Diogee? and James is like, You know, Diogee and I'm like, Huh? and he's like, It's dog. It spells dog, and I'm like Huh? and he's like, D - O - G. Diogee.

Diogee likes to jump on stuff. Tables, counters, snowbanks. He might be a mountain goat.

Biggest Beagle ear to head ratio ever.

The best way to check on the adoption status of this dog (and other dogs and cats and other small domestic animals) is to visit Toronto Animal Services adoption website or call 416 338 6668 for the Toronto Animal Services South shelter. If the dog is no longer on the TAS adoption website, it's probably because it's been adopted already.

  1. who gives the TAS dogs their names? As I think some strays and puppy mill dogs won't have names upon arrival. They are very well chosen. DIogee is a handsome dog with a clever name and great ears!

  2. Hi Anon, if a dog comes into TAS with no history and no name then someone at TAS will likely name it but in this case, Diogee was surrendered and his previous owner told the staff his name.

  4. I must have an ear fetish, because every time you post something I think is really *cute*, it's because of the ears. I think this lad just shot to the top of my Cuteness Index....

  6. He is adorable - the markings on his face are a work of art. But he needs a new name. I wonder if it's possible to predict owner surrenders by the names they give their dogs? I bet there's a study in there for someone.

  7. Obviously a Beagle/Cattle Dog cross. My advise to anyone pondering adopting this dog is to do so immediately. This was the cross of my previous dog and it is an excellent combination.
