we adopted our deaf senior gal from tas. it has its perks - no issue with fireworks / thunder nor engaging in bark conversations with neighboring dogs / sleeps like a log. our blind old boy came to us from a rural shelter ( blind / CHF / cushings ). hes quite happy to explore the world ( especially the woods ) with his sniffer. they dont see anything wrong with their world so why should we ?
