Here's a Kijiji ad (click on image to enlarge):
Pictures from the ad:
Notice the mother in some of the pictures. She's keeping an eye on her children. She's attentive, loving, maternal, even gets along with the cat.
Here's her reward:
Rescued by Kismutt.
Lady is now available for adoption through Toronto Animal Services South or call 416 338 6668 for the Toronto Animal Services South shelter. If Lady is no longer on the TAS adoption website, it's probably because she's been adopted already.
The Kijiji ad is whacked, what neighbour would advertise a neighbour's pups? That sure doesn't pass the smell test. Glad she was rescued from being an ATM for some moron.
ReplyDeleteLovely dog, thanks to you she will get a much better home than she had (silver lining).
ReplyDeleteDid the breeders give TAS a reason for dumping the sweet dog? For I suspect the back yard breeding will continue and I wonder why not with Lady. Lady is lucky at least they didn't kill her in some terrible way as is often the case when a dog that is merely a tool to its owner outlives its usefulness. Now hopefully she will get a loving home through TAS and with your excellent effort on her behalf find a good life
ReplyDeleteWe have a Doberman whose had Lady's exact history. We adopted 'Baby' from the TAS North Region last September. Her name is now Chloe and she sleeps in the bed with us and wants for nothing. Some lucky person is going to adopt Lady and give her the life she deserves.
